GETTING BETTER
had time trials today. i'm tired now): joscelin yeo's brother is our new coach or something, at least until nationals. cos we bullied hairy toes too much, and he just gave into us, but WHATEVER. he was mean. yeah. but i think i improved(: haha. my fifty free is 40.90 and my fifty breast is 47.35 or something now(: it's not good at national standard or anything, it's actually really bad for a school swimmer, but it's an improvement(: and according to mr yeo or whatever we're supposed to call hime, we should improve under two months intensive training. intensive. i don't think i go quite well with the word intensive, but if i get faster, then FINE BY ME. omg yes, going there was HELL. i'm not much of a walker/runner, or a swimmer for that matter. you can tell from my timing. i don't know why everyone thinks that swimmers are naturally good runners, but not all are. i mean, there are quite a few that are good at both, i'm just not one of them. so when i found out mrs bowness didn't get a bus for us i considered not going. bleah. cos it was at smu, so i guess she thought it'd be really easy for us to get there, so we took a bus and then walked a helluva distance to the entrance and then to the pool. haha and while we were waiting to cross the road this taxi went by and there was this really nerdy guy sitting in the backseat with his mouth pressed up against the glass waving at us frantically. loser lah. and the guy sitting in front was like raising his hand to apologise to us for his friend's retarded behaviour.
HAHAHA. yeah, then when we were leaving mrs bowness was like, melissa, you should put aside synchro and concentrate on you swimming for now." it's not really like i have much to put aside, but i pointed out that synchro nationals were at around the same time as swimming nationals, then she started saying that she hasn't put together a team for scgs and registered it as a cca or something. cos i mean if i could get points for both then that'd be nice but since i clearly won't be getting any rom swimming synchro's my only hope, after choir i mean. argh. i need to have a nap
